Craig Bloomer
Craig worked with Dr. Beasley on a national study of engagement and disengagement in Oxford House addiction recovery homes. He also examined the relationship between personality and different types of involvement in Alcoholics Anonymous under Dr. Beasley's leadership. Craig is currently a master's student in the DePaul University Applied Statistics program. |
Katherine Calabra
Kate worked with Dr. Beasley on a study of neighborhood characteristics related to the likelihood of Oxford House recovery homes closing. This was the first Oxford House study to use data from the U.S. census. Kate is currently a master's student in the Michigan State University Urban & Regional Planning program. |
Michael Dekhtyar
Mike worked with Dr. Beasley on a qualitative study of transgender residents in Oxford House recovery homes. Under Dr. Beasley's leadership, Mike also studied the relationship of hope to reincarceration of recovery home residents and psychometrics for a measure of student homonegative behaviors. Mike is currently a Senior Research Assistant at the American Medical Association. He is also continuing to develop empirical skills in the University of Illinois at Chicago Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics and Assessment (MESA) program. |
John McGill
John worked with Dr. Beasley as the team leader for a national study of engagement and disengagement in Oxford House addiction recovery homes. He was responsible for project organization, participant compensation, and data integrity. John is currently a Research Project Assistant at the DePaul University Center for Community Research and a grant writer for the Cities Project at DePaul. |
Frank Ponziano
Frank worked with Dr. Beasley on a qualitative study of transgender residents in Oxford House recovery homes. Under Dr. Beasley's leadership, Frank also examined gender differences in psychosocial outcomes associated with experiences of childhood sexual assault for people in recovery from alcohol and other drugs. Frank is currently a master's student in the University of Alaska at Fairbanks Counseling program. |
